The new moon was sighted in Buffalo, NY this evening, therefore, Ramadan has ended and the Eid ul-Fitr has begun! Allahu Akbar, and we hope everyone enjoyed all the Blessings of the month of Ramadan!
We will have Eid prayer at the masjid tomorrow. The takbirs start at 8:30 am, followed by the prayer and khutbah. The Eid Brunch will start at 11:00 am. Brunch is free for masjid members with wristband, for others, it’s $10 for adults and $5 for children.
On Saturday, starting at 1:00, we will have a cookout at the masjid and the annual Old Skool/New Skool Basketball Tournament. Please bring a dish to share.
On Sunday, from 1-4 pm, there will be roller skating at Kate’s Skating Rink, 14500 E. Independence Blvd, Indian Trail, NC. Skating Brunch is free for masjid members with wristband, for others, it’s $10 for adults and $5 for children.
Come out and join in the festivities! Allah Akbar! Eid Mubarak!
As-Salaam Alaikum
1. Please make du’a for all who are sick or in need.
2. Please pay zakat and sadaqah at www.masjidashshaheed.org (http://www.masjidashshaheed.org/) or by calling 704-488-1434.Zakat ul-Fitr must be paid before Eid Prayer and is set at $10 per family member. You can pay it here at the masjid.
3. Please remain seated after the prayer is completed, Imam Wazir Ali, will be conducting a fundraiser.
4. Tomorrow night, we will observe the Night of Power here at the masjid, starting right after iftar. There will be presentations and other activities.
5. We will celebrate Eid al-Fitr here at the masjid. Stay tuned for the date and list of activities.
6. Registration is now open for the Brother’s Summit, taking place June 7-9. See Imam Ibn Mutakabbir for more information.
7. All classes will be held at regular times this weekend and next week.

Strong End School begins in September, so now's the time to register. We are offering virtual classes for adults and children on Sunday mornings 9:00 am to 12:30 pm. Specific class start tims will vary. Your child's teacher will have essential information to help your student be successful. Let's celebrate life and be grateful for the opportunity; to increase in knowledge.
